OU Advocacy Works to Keep Silver Academy Alive

In 2010, the Silver Academy of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania nearly closed its doors due to a financial crisis and near depletion of its endowment fund. In addition to a new development plan, the school worked with OU Advocacy to ensure effective use of government funding that defrayed other operational costs and helped lower tuition significantly. The school is now alive and thriving. The story appeared in the summer 2013 issue of Jewish Action magazine, which is available for viewing  here.
