OU Schools in Session Initiative: December 2013

Posted on December 19, 2013 In Events

Schools in Session meetings continued this week as the staff of OU Advocacy-NY visited four different day schools throughout New York State. At each event, the local elected official met with members of the parent body as well as school officials to discuss the issues faced by faith-based schools, followed by a tour of the facility. Manhattan Day School welcomed Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal; Hillel Community Day School in Rochester hosted Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Morelle; Maimonides Hebrew Day School met with Assembly Member Pat Fahy; and Assembly Member Ray Walter braved the storm and visited the Kadimah Jewish Day School in Buffalo.
