Voicing his support for Pennsylvania’s educational tax credit programs, State Senator Rob Teplitz noted that the programs are a “fair compromise and fair alternative to school vouchers.” He spoke about his and the larger legislative support for the programs at OU Advocacy’s second meeting of the Educaitonal Tax Credit Coalitoin.

OU Advocacy-PA launched the Pennsylvania Educational Tax Credit Coalition in September, bringing together organizations within the Commonwealth that work to ensure the ongoing funding of Pennsylvania’s tax credit tax programs. By working collaboratively, the coalition hopes to take advantage of each organization’s strengths to impress upon state legislators and the overall public that the education tax credit programs are important to a wide cross-section of Pennsylvania’s families.
