DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER DANNY AYALON MEETS ORTHODOX LEADERSHIP

Former Ambassador to the United States hosted by Orthodox Union; briefs Jewish leaders on current events

Today, the Orthodox Union (Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America), through its Institute for Public Affairs, hosted Hon. Danny Ayalon, Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel. Mr. Ayalon, who enjoys a relationship with the OU dating back to his service as Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, was joined by his Chief of Staff, David Segal and the Deputy Consul General of Israel in New York, Benjamin Krasna.

Mr. Ayalon discussed the regional security threats, including Iran and Syria, peace prospects with the Palestinians and broader Arab world, as well as the US-Israel relationship and its enduring strength despite recent tensions.
