On October 14 and 15, Yeshiva University brought over 200 day school students from New York and New Jersey to Washington, DC to lobby their legislators on Israel’s behalf.

As part of the program, OU Director of Advocacy Training Estee Goldschmidt delivered a lobbying training seminar to the students on Sunday afternoon, followed by an address by OU Managing Director Rabbi Steven Burg.

The next day, the students broke up into groups and put their new lobbying skills to the test – with two and a half hours of meetings with members of Congress and their staff.
