Celebrating U.S. Jewry at The White House

Posted on May 17, 2011 In Events

Today, President Obama hosted a reception at The White House in honor of “Jewish American Heritage Month.”

This was a lovely occasion to, as the President said, mark the many contributions of Jewish people to this country. The event hosted many notable American Jews of particular note to us – OU leaders Yehuda Neuberger, Nathan Diament and Menachem Genack as well as YU president Richard Joel and several rabbis from Orthodox communities around the country.

And the entertainment for the event was YU’s Maccabeats.
