Orthodox Union Condemns Terror Attack on School Bus; Prays for Wounded

Posted on April 7, 2011 In Press Releases

Today, in the wake of reports that Palestinian Hamas terrorists in Gaza launched a rocket at a school bus carrying Israeli children – wounding at least three of the children – the following statement was issued by the leadership of the Orthodox Union:

The Orthodox Union condemns today’s heinous act of terrorism in which innocent schoolchildren were targeted as they traveled home from school.

We call upon our members to pray for the speedy and full recovery of the victims of the attack.

This is the second attack within a month’s time in which Palestinian terrorists have targeted children.

We call upon the world’s leaders to unequivocally condemn this act and the environment of anti-Israel incitement that somehow supports the murdering and wounding of Jewish children.
