OU Commends President Bush for Education Choice Proposal

The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, through its Institute for Public Affairs, commended President Bush for his education reform proposals unveiled in the State of the Union address last night.

Nathan J. Diament, UOJCA Director of Public Policy stated:

“President Bush made education reform, in the form of the bi-partisan No Child Left Behind Act, the signature issue of his first years in office. While the president made clear that the War on Terror and securing the homeland remain his number one priority, we are pleased that he will also focus his efforts on initiatives to ensure that America’s parents can obtain a quality education for their children.”
