I am writing to you today to strongly urge you to support the newly released Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act. This includes the Senate’s proposal of $400 million in emergency Nonprofit Security Grant Program funding as well as $26 billion in critical military aid to Israel in its war with Hamas.

The American Jewish community has watched antisemitic incidents, including verbal abuse, harassment, intimidation, and even violence, spiral out of control since October 7. The life-saving NSGP resources provided in the bill will help many nonprofit organizations, including synagogues, churches, and other nonprofits, prevent, prepare for, protect against, and respond to acts of terrorism or other threats.

This bill also provides invaluable military aid to Israel in its war against Hamas terrorists, who actively seek the destruction of the Jewish state and its people.

The U.S. must protect its Jewish citizens during this time of crisis, both abroad and at home.

As a Jewish American who’s faced this crisis in my daily life, I urge you, as a constituent, to support this critical funding.
