What we do WORKS:

Legislative Advocacy: OU Advocacy works with lawmakers in Congress to write and pass key bills such as the Antisemitism Awareness Act and the University Accountability Act, which protect Jewish communities and Jewish students. 

Federal Partnerships: OU Advocacy advocates on behalf of Jewish students directly to the President of the United States and his staff, the Secretary of Education, the director of the FBI, and many others. 

Legal Action: When universities fail to protect Jewish students and Congress stalls, we have students’ backs in court. OU Advocacy is joining student-led lawsuits to hold institutions accountable for their failure to combat antisemitism.
