URGE YOUR LAWMAKER TO VOTE FOR IRAN SANCTIONS LEGISLATION!

The Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act (H.R. 2194) is likely to come to the floor of the House of Representatives before the December Congressional recess. The legislation contains measures to expand economic sanctions against Iran and would force the Iranian government to choose between a ruined economy or continued nuclear development. These sanctions could be implemented if Iran continues its uranium enrichment and rejects U.S. attempts at diplomacy.

Strong bipartisan passage of this legislation would be an important signal to Iran to discontinue nuclear development. With Iran becoming an ever-increasing threat to the United States, Israel and the global community, it is imperative that we take concrete steps to thwart Iran’s aims, and that our community speaks out on the need to enact sanctions against Iran.
