I am an activist with Teach NJS. I believe all students should have the educational opportunity they need to be successful at school and the tools they need to compete in the economy.

Nonpublic schools educate more than 150,000 students in the state; a full 10% of the students in New Jersey are educated in nonpublic schools. 

That is why I support S2660, which would authorize the State of New Jersey to begin reimbursing the costs of qualified Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics instructors in nonpublic  schools.

This bill will help ensure that all students in our state have the access to qualified teachers. Nonpublic schools are a critical part of the state's educational infrastructure. This bill will make sure that 10% of New Jersey’s students have the tools they need to become successful members of our state.
