The last reception I attended this evening — at which the OU’s Rabbi Genack was present as well — was for Sen Joe Lieberman. After the (now almost forgotten?) primary challenge last summer from……what’s his name? Ned? this felt like a very welcome celebration.

Keen supporters in attendance included Sen Chris Dodd of Connecticut, Sen Mary Landrieu of Louisianna, and some notable GOPers such as Rep Chris Shays and Sen Susan Collins.
