Barack Obama at Bnai Torah of Boca

On May 23, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama visited Congregation Bnai Torah in Boca Raton. Florida where he delivered remarks and held a town hall meeting. Obama addressed everything from his first encounters with Jews and Judaism, allegations about his being a Muslim (including an amusing aside about what kinds of email messages people ought not to believe (“don’t send $1000 to the Nigerian emailer offering you an investment opportunity)) and who his advisers are, and his policy proposals with regard to Israel and the broader Mideast.

JTA has the full roundup and a transcript of Obama’s initial remarks, but for those wanting to cut through the assertions and claims for themselves, here’s a link to the full video of the event
