“D” Family Squabbles About Iran

Hours after Iran tested long range missiles, capable of reaching Israel or other destinations, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs held a hearing with regard to U.S. policy toward Iran.

One aspect of the hearing was the bipartisan H.Con.Res. 362 – expressing Congress’ current views on this critical matter.

On this day, of all days, Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FL), a cosponsor of the Resolution, announced his intention to oppose its passage if it is not modified.

Mideast Subcommittee chair and lead co-sponsor of the Resolution, Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-NY) doesn’t agree with his Florida colleague’s take on the Resolution’s text.
