Everyone is focused on the midterm election results today – and we will have our own commentary on the results and their impact upon the Orthodox community in turn.

But this morning, over at the third branch of the U.S. government – the Supreme Court of the United States – oral arguments took place in a case which may have a critical impact upon our community.

The case involves the constitutionality of state tax credits for contributions to school scholarship funds.

The OU joined with others in filing a brief with the court which you can read here.

UPDATE: Per the LATimes the Obama Administration sided with us in defense of the constitutionality of the education tax credit program.
