Kippot in the Crowd

At Mayor Giuliani’s fundraiser last night at New York’s Sheraton, there were a large number of visibly Orthodox Jews in attendance. A local (but non Jewish) elected official pointed out to a Giuliani staffer that there were a lot of kippot in the crowd.

While it’s no surprise in a city like New York to have such a showing, we wonder what the numbers will be like at the Governor Romney event in the same place next week, and to what it may mean (or not) for reading tea leaves on Orthodox support in the 2008 cycle.
