This is a critical time for our advocacy. Policymakers are dealing with legislation essential to combating antisemitism in the United States, especially on university campuses, and also allocating resources to help keep our schools safe and secure.
The heads of Jewish day schools have a unique voice and perspective to bring to this debate. That is why several of your peers have partnered with the OU Advocacy Center in Washington to mount a one day leadership mission to the nation’s capital.
The Day School Leadership Mission will be an intense, impactful and enjoyable day. It will include:
- Meetings with senior Department of Education officials
- luncheon at the Capitol with key leaders of education policy
- small group lobbying meetings with Members of Congress in their offices
The program will begin on 5/8 at 8:30am with shacharit and an opening breakfast session.
