David Michaels – from Bnai Brith – writing in the Jewish Week describes his meeting with the Pope – and the efforts to partner with the Church on practical matters. Kudos to him for the use of “Christendom” in a sentence.

For us here, we’ve followed that pattern – trying to work with the Catholic community – at the national and state levels on public policy matters of mutual concern. None of us have yet to meet the Pope, but we have seen the same level of friendship in the Catholic laity and clergy we have been privileged to partner with.
