Despite being on the way out of power in Israel, Ehud Olmert insists on pressing the case for a policy the majority of Israelis and American Jews oppose – redividing Jerusalem.

Not only shouldn’t the lame duck Prime Minister be making such statements, but Mr. Olmert decided to use the memorial service for Yitzchak Rabin as the venue for his statement – we find that to be divisive itself, not to mention uncouth.
