Orthodox bodies join Jewish groups rejecting Trump call to bar Muslims

December 10, 2015

WASHINGTON (JTA) — The umbrella bodies for modern Orthodox Jews joined Jewish groups in rejecting Donald Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the United States.

Instead, the two umbrella bodies said they “reject calls to limit immigration to the United States based on religion.”
