Recently, the New York State Division of Human Rights Rejected the NAACP’s challenge to Sabbath-Closing Clinic. The NY State Division of Human Rights dismissed the NAACP of Spring Valley’s complaint against the Ben Gilman Medical and Dental Clinic after the NAACP chapter flied a compliant claiming that the clinic’s practice of closing on Saturdays to accommodate the Jewish Sabbath was discriminatory. The Division ordered the compliant dismissed and the file closed.
