Last night, the Knitting Factory in New York hosted its “Shots for Sderot” concert which included Blue Fringe, Heedoosh and Owl (which the OU’s own PR flack – and proud father of guitarist Dave, Steve Steiner calls the Jewish music 21st century answer to Simon & Garfunkel). Proceeds from the evening’s bar went to help Sderot and its battle weary residents.
