- New York STATE Nonpublic Schools Educate Roughly 416,000 Students – This is 13.5% of all K-12 school enrollment in New York State (2009-2011 data). Compare to:
- Maryland – Nonpublic schools educate roughly 141,000 students, or 14.3% of all K-12 school enrollment (2010-2011 data).
