The OU Advocacy Center has been working for years to change FEMA policy that bars disaster-damaged synagogues, churches and other houses of worship from receiving FEMA assistance.
FEMA announced a reversal of that policy on Jan. 2, 2018, and the following month changed the law to reflect the new policy.
