World wide rally for Sderot

On Thursday March 20, a global internet-rally will be held in support of those living in Sderot. Speakers include Alan Dershowitz, the renowned American international lawyer and author of, “The Case for Israel,” and Irwin Cotler, the former Canadian Minister of Justice, live from Sderot, Israel at 11 p.m. local time, 5 p.m. EDT

Other speakers include Yisroel Meir Lau, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv; Israel’s Chief Rabbi Yonah Metzger; Natan Sharansky, former Knesset member and Soviet Refusenik; David Trimble, former First Minister of Ireland; the Chief Rabbi of the United Kingdom, Sir Jonathan Sacks; Reggae Star Matisyahu; Marvin Hier, Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center; Academy Award winning actor, Jon Voight and the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Jimmy Del Shad. Pre-taped messages from the U.S. Presidential candidates — Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain — will also be played for audiences.
