The Wall Street Journal Editorial Page weighs in on Sol Roth’s recent piece in City Journal on school choice. We think they hit the point exactly: school choice doesn’t exist to improve public schools; it exists to help children. If a by product is better public schools, that is a great side benefit. Jason Riley, the author of the editorial, points to several studies on both the Milwaukee voucher program, as well as from Florida’s A+ program that indicates this is so.
