Zev Chafets on Jewish partisans and Mitt Romney

In an LA Times op-ed today, Zev Chafets warns against Jewish political partisans slinging mud against presidential candidates.

Chafets is directly responding to a National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) broadside against Mitt Romney for announcing his presidential candidacy at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan. Along with Chafets’ useful reminder about the dangers of “crying wolf,” we would add that the media and the Jewish voters should be mindful that the NJDC and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) are partisan organizations with a particularly partisan job to do.
