OU Advocacy-NY and its coalition partners kicked off the new year with its first Schools in Session event at Hebrew Day School of Sullivan & Ulster Counties with Senator John J. Bonacic. The program included a brief tour of the school facility combined with an intimate meeting to discuss relevant matters to both the school community and the legislators. Schools in Session provides a unique opportunity for school parents, board members and staff members to meet and engage with their local Senators and Assembly members.
