Dr. Gene Fisher, who heads up the US Conference of Catholic Bishop‘s interfaith and ecumenical affairs shop is slated to retire in July after some three decades of service to this oft times challenging line of work. The IPA helps staff the RCA’s dialogue with USCCB and we have had the pleasure of working with Gene for a long time. It was nice to see then that we aren’t the only Jewish professionals who feel this way … Gene received the prestigious Dr. Joseph L. Lichten Award in Catholic-Jewish Relations from the ADL yesterday. Congratulations Gene.
