Kansas City Star, ‘Prime Buzz’ – “[Congressman] Kenny Hulshof’s campaign for governor received $100,000 from school choice advocate Rex Sinquefield the same day Hulshof announced an urban-school reform plan that included taxpayer subsidies for private-school tuition.
The contribution, received by Hulshof on Tuesday, came from the political fund-raising committee Missourians Needing Education Alternatives – Statewide. The committee is one of 100 that Sinquefield set up last year to fund candidates who support his political philosophy emphasizing free markets and school choice.”
