The JTA reports – ABC’s Charlie Gibson asked GOP Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin about her views should Israel decide to undertake military action to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Her key quote: “We are friends of Israel and I don’t think that we should second guess the measures Israel has to take to defend themselves and for their security”. Gibson then asked her the same question, in a different way, a second time, and then a third – to which Gov. Palin gave the same basic response.
In this, Palin’s much touted first network interview since being nominated by the GOP, Gibson seemed to be seeing if he could trip her up. What it brought to mind for us was the Biblical verse in which God states: “all that Sarah says to you, listen to.” (Gen. 21;12). Maybe Gibson needs to review this and listen more carefully the first time.
