A bill that would support nonpublic school families by encouraging businesses to fund scholarships for students at nonpublic schools is now being considered by the Maryland General Assembly.
SB 373/HB 812, the BOAST Maryland Tax Credit, would provide tax credits to businesses that donate to scholarship organizations for nonpublic school students or to innovative educational organizations for public school students. Part of the donations can also be used to assist teachers in both public and nonpublic schools in maintaining or advancing their state certification.
Ask your legislators to help build opportunities for all students and teachers in Maryland by supporting SB 373/HB 812, the BOAST Maryland Tax Credit.
