With school safety on the top of all of our minds, I am eager to inform you about a legislative initiative in the General Assembly, currently in the Senate, SB521.  SB521 would help keep ALL students safe.

As a member of the Jewish community, I have seen the rise in anti-Semitism, coupled with more increased school violence, and now, even more violence targeting religious minorities. For these reasons, it is imperitive that students in ALL schools are safe at school.

Our General Assembly created the School Safety fund within the Pennsylvania Committee on Crime and Delinquency this past year, and public schools have been able to access the fund. We ask that you support initiatives to protect ALL students in PA. This current bill in the Senate would expand the program to include ALL schools, creating a safer Pensylvania, where ALL students can thrive.
