I am writing to you as one of your constituents to respectfully ask you to use your voice in Congress to support Israel’s right to self-defense against Hamas’s relentless rocket attacks on Israel and her civilian population.

Iran-backed Hamas and other terrorists are committed to Israel’s destruction. They do not seek an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; in their own words, they want to wipe Israel off the map. They chant “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” Right now, Israelis are spending their days and nights in bomb shelters as Hamas targets innocent civilians with over 600 rockets. As of Tuesday afternoon, at least two Israelis have been killed in these attacks and dozens of others have been injured.

Every country deserves the right to defend its citizens against terror. Israel has responded to this violence by attacking Hamas militants and military targets in Gaza. I am writing to you as one of your constituents to ask you to strongly and clearly raise your voice and issue a statement that calls upon Hamas (and others) to stop these cowardly attacks against the world’s only Jewish state. It is critical the world sees a united U.S.-Israel relationship amidst this terror. Please stand for the security of our ally Israel in its right toself-defense from constant rocket attacks.
